Supporting business and community for more than 20 years
BIEDO (Burnett Inland Economic Development Organisation Inc.) was established in 1996 by Burnett local governments, community and industry activists concerned about the impact of drought on our region. Today, we are a not-for-profit, economic development organisation proudly serving the North and South Burnett regions.
From Monto in the north to Blackbutt in the south, we are here for every community, no matter how small or remote. From engaging in strategic regional dialogue such as the Mundubbera-Jandowae Roads Working Group, to delivering workshops and forums for our business, or supporting our farming community through our Rural Wellbeing Extension program, you may have seen our team across the beautiful #BurnettInland at one of our events, including:
Women in Agriculture Days
North and South Burnett Agriculture Network forums
Taking Care of Burnett Inland Business workshop series
Grant-ED program
Women in Work Shirts Walk
North Burnett Leadership Series
Our Vision
